It is unique to live in a really small town. Even more when this town is filled up with like 38 public parks (like more than twice if compared with São Paulo), sports, recreation, culture and cool people.
I decided to move beyond just paying attention to my urban life in a small town.
After my older sons’ games, Nick always ask for burgers, sometimes Cristian asks for alternative restaurant than the usual, in the way from the fields to the restaurants and home I see many curious things.
This is a 1990 sculpture by Kevin Barrett (http://www.kevinbarrettsculptures.com).
Below i registered the details where his signature is and also the very corner where it is located.
These pictures were taken earlier today (August the 25th, I am planning to register most of the Urban arts of Coral Springs).
Next step is to find out more about Mr. Barrett life and work. Not even his sculpturs site says much.
Above sculpture seems to be called "Union One" and is a 114"x 72" x 48" painted aluminum work. His site shows a thumbnail and a full size photo of the scuplture, seems pretty much the same place (there is explicit reference at the bottom of the sculpture page).
